Fire infrared detector
A sensitive element in a
fire detector that can convert the infrared radiation of a flame into an alarm
signal output by an infrared detector. When a target in the detector's field of
view generates a flame, an alarm signal can be immediately issued. Commonly
used fire infrared detectors are lead sulfide, and indium antimonide,
germanium-doped mercury, and mercury cadmium telluride are also used.
